Much does it Cost?
I charge $40/hr once I start building your site. However
I do not charge during the planning sessions. This is why our services
are affordable. Many sites charge your duing the planning process (if
there is a planning process) We would rather plan your podcast, and build
it correctly the first time,
Will I Own My Site?
Yes. Once your account is paid in full, you own your site, and all the
pages. You will be provided the password in the event you want to maintain
your site yourself.
How Soon Will My Updates Be Performed?
All updates will be performed in 99% of the cases in less than 48 hours
(changing existing text). Any pages requiring new graphics may take
longer. If you have an emergency, immediate updates will be charged
at a rate of $60/hr (please note, as there are only 24 hours in a day,
immediate updates need to be approved).
What Do You Use to Design the Site?
If you are going to be doing the updates, I typically design it in Microsoft
Front Page. If I am going to be doing the updates, I typically use Macromedia
Dreamweaver.
What Kind of Rounding Do You Do for Billing?
None. When you purchase 60 minutes of updates, you get 60 minutes
of updates. If I update a page and it takes 3 minutes, you have 57 minutes
on account.
I'm Broke I Can't
Afford for a Site. Can't I Just use a "Freebie Site" to host
my files and Register a Domain name?
Sure. A registered domain is going to run you around 10 bucks.
But remember you only get to make a first impression once. And while
your route will cost you about 10 bucks a year (and you end up with
this which is OK) , isn't your band/company worth just a little
more? Besides with a better looking site, you have a better chance of
getting more business and it just might pay for itself. I've designed
a Basic full site for 89. Isn't your band worth .19 a day for a cooler
web site?
Do You Have Any Kind of Payment Plans?
While typically not needed, I have worked out plans with customers
in the past. In this case we work together to build and post your site.
While I work under your direction, the transfer of ownership happens
when the final bill is paid.
What If I Decide to Cancel My Account With You?
Some customers decide to do updates on their own. I completely understand.
Once my labor time is paid, you own the site and can manage your site
in any fashion you choose.
I Already Have a Web site and Just Need Updates,
and Possibly Some Graphic Work Done. Can You Help Me With That?
Yes . I do not have to be the original web creator (although
it is easier if I am). I also do some graphic
work.
Can You Build It, and Then I'll Update it?
Sure. While not my favorite option, I just need to know this up front
so we can decide what tool we will use to design the site. As stated
above, it's your site. Do with it what you want.
Can I Sell Items on My Site?
Yes. I currently use Paypal
to sell items, and I have multiple tools to sell digital items.

account. It's free to set up, and I can assist you with this for free.
